I t is a traditional family business started in the year 1963 by Nagjibhai D Ramani and was established as Gurukrupa Exports in the year 1997. Primarily managed by eight brothers, the company deals exclusively with diamond studded gold jewellery set in 18k and 22k, According to Jaysukh Ramani, “We are one of the most prominent names in diamond and studded jewellery today and nearly 90 per cent of our products rule the market in South India.

Basically from Surat, the Gurukrupa Exports has created a niche in South India as diamond jewellery manufacturer, Headquartered at Surat with exclusive diamond factory, Gurukrupa Exports ventured into Coimbatore 12 years ago, setting a strong base in south.

Product Spectrum

The company concentrates on diamond studded jewellery which primarily includes traditional jewellery, antique jewellery, and nakash jewelley, From nose pins to heavy neck pieces for any occasion- all are churned out from their factory,

Coimbatore facility

Gurukrupa Exports has a manufacturing factory at Coimbatore, besides one in Surat. Choosing Coimbatore was a very sensible option as the region is right in the center of South India and servicing its clients in Bangalore and other southern states becomes easier. The company is also planning to set up another unit in Coimbatore itself. The new unit will be a bigger setup spread across 12000 sq.ft. with the capacity to accommodate approximately 500 employees. The new factory will be seen with the latest state-of-art machines and technology.

Employee Resources The diamond factory is located at Surat and the other factory at Coimbatore has 200 employees. The facility accommodates one of the best talented workers with state-of-the-art technology. “Our key intention is to serve our customers by providing the most reliable products,” adds Ramani.

The company believes in commitment and devotion which in turn enables it to offer fine quality products to the clients. The work is equally distributed among the family members. Gurukrupa’s Chennai office is handled by Shailesh K Ramani, the manufacturing unit at Coimbatore unit managed by two brothers- Jignesh K Ramani and Narhari K Ramani. The marketing department is headed by the Gaurang A Ramani.

Design aspect

The company is very confident and precise about manufacturing its designs. Every piece which is handmade is carved beautifully with an eye to detail.
